Beeswax wraps are a perfect alternative to cling film. Made from 100% cotton and 100% local beeswax, these 25cm x 25cm beauties are perfect to wrap round left over food, or over a bowl. Just use the heat of your hands to seal.
Full care instructions are included, but they are not recommended to be used with raw meat and can be washed using washing up liquid and cool water.

Just use the heat of your hands to get them to stick. Suitable for use in the fridge and freezer. Not suitable for use with warm or hot foods, or use in the microwave. Avoid wrapping raw meat or fish. Our wraps can last up to a year, with proper care and regular use. You'll know when your wrap has reached the end of it's life when it is thinner, soft and has trouble sticking to itself. At this point they are compostable and biodegradable. Or you can rejuvenate them by putting baking paper either side and ironing. If they have lost all their wax, we also have beeswax blocks available for you to top them up. |
