Opting for an earth-friendly lifestyle doesn't have to be pricey, and switching to a bamboo toothbrush is another great plastic free swap you can make. The bamboo in our toothbrushes is organically grown, and completely compostable. Bamboo is also naturally bacteria resistant. The bristles are medium-firm, giving you a great clean without irritating sensitive gums, and are made from Nylon 11 which is derived from caster oil, unlike other nylons which are petroleum based. Avoid leaving your toothbrush in water and let it dry properly between uses to prolong it's life. They come in recyclable cardboard packaging. The adult toothbrushes are 17.3cm in length with 1.1cm bristles. The children's are 14.3cm in length. When you need to replace your toothbrush, use pliers to remove the bristles. Pop the bamboo section in your compost. |
